Jon Colin joined LifeStar Response in 1997 as director of corporate development. In 1998 he was appointed president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining LifeStar, Colin served as president and chief executive officer for Environmental Services of America, Inc., a publicly traded environmental services company. He currently serves as a director for Perma-Fix Environmental Services (PESI-NASDAQ).

Colin has more than 20 years in senior management of public and private corporations. A cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, Colin has a bachelor of science in accounting. 

Danny Platt, President, COO

Danny Platt joined LifeStar Response in 2000 as Mid-Atlantic director of operations. He was appointed vice president in August 2003, with responsibility for operations in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Alabama.

Platt began his career as a municipal fire fighter and emergency medical technician progressing to become a paramedic and EMS instructor. He was instrumental in developing a private EMS training academy. Experienced in managing and developing medical transportation services, Platt began as a service line manager of critical care transportation services and has served as operations manager, program director and senior executive. 

James T. Buonincontri, CFO LifeStar Response

James Buonincontri joined LifeStar Response Corporation in July 2005. Buonincontri previously served as CFO of several public and private companies, including Preferred Health Care, a managed care company; and Medical Logistics, Inc., a transportation and logistics company offering local same day pickup and delivery service to the medical sector.

Buonincontri began his career in what is now Ernst & Young, LLC and lead internal audit departments at Royal Dutch/Shell and Witco Chemical Company. In addition, he has extensive consulting experience, principally in the review and installation of finance systems.

Buonincontri holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Lehigh University, and has been a licensed CPA in New Jersey since 1974.
